The Philippines has made it once again to the Guinness Book of World Records. This time, it’s not just about height, weight, food, or extreme talents but also fashion. Two thousand models and model wannabes – how I wish there is a much in the country – walking on a catwalk in one fashion event is no joke. I had to sit on a fabric-covered monoblock chair for more than an hour and watch them strut down the runway. It’s also exhausting to watch these record-breaking events, seeing a wide range of fashion pieces — from shirts to a Philippine national costume.
To see heeled models walk is a norm but to see cute little children show off their style is more exciting. They. were. so. cute.
Some of the featured brands were Bench, Bayo, Plains & Prints, Penshoppe, Gibi, The Ramp, Freeway, Folded&Hung and Maldita and foreign brands A/X Exchange, Marks & Spencer, Cache Cahe, Naturalizer, Florsheim, Mango, Melissa Shoes, Sperry Topsider and Skechers.
I know you wanna see them. So, here are my favorites!
Celebrities such as Billie Crawford, Bianca Gonzales, Geneva Cruz, Victor Basa, and Andrew Wolfe also took the runway.
During the middle of the fashion show, The Click Five member Kyle Patrick serenaded the audience with his hit single, “Go For Gold.”
And this was how I looked during the show.
